Painful as they might be in their own peculiar way, the best that can be said about the Odious Comic Reliefs© nominated throughout this survey is that while they have unquestionably caused plenty of mental anguish, no-one – and nothing – was ever physically the worse for their existence.

As it turns out, this is not always the case. I finish this survey with a story about a Comic Relief who gives a whole new meaning to the word “Odious”…
